Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms form an agreement between you and SFDR AI ("we", "us"), the provider of the SFDR AI service.
Last updated: 11 August 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
The service is operated by SFDR AI, trading as SFDR AI. By creating an account, buying credits or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation; if you use it personally, you confirm you are of legal age.
2. The service
SFDR AI is an AI-assisted research tool. It searches for public sustainability and SFDR disclosures, extracts principal adverse impact (PAI) indicators from those documents, calculates portfolio-level metrics and generates draft reports. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan or credit balance you have purchased.
3. Accounts and accurate information
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date, and tell us promptly about any unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service unlawfully, fraudulently or to send spam;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the service — no malware, probing, penetration testing without consent, scraping or circumventing rate limits, credit accounting or other technical restrictions;
- reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service;
- generate or submit illegal content, hate speech, harassment, deepfakes or deliberately deceptive disclosures, or attempt to jailbreak the AI models.
5. AI outputs and your responsibility
You are responsible for the documents and prompts you submit, for having the rights to submit them, and for how you use the outputs. AI extraction and summarisation can be inaccurate or incomplete: figures may be misread, units may be misinterpreted and coverage may be partial. Always verify extracted values against the linked source document before relying on them, and apply your own professional review before any regulatory filing.
We may filter, refuse or remove content and outputs, and may restrict or suspend accounts that breach these terms. If you are a rights holder and believe content processed through the service infringes your rights, contact us at max.martikainen2@gmail.com and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it. Repeat infringement leads to account termination.
6. No professional or investment advice
The information, metrics and reports produced by the service are provided for general and informational purposes only. They are not financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and are not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or fund. All investment and reporting decisions are your own responsibility.
7. Intellectual property
We retain all ownership of the service, including its software, models, prompts, documentation, design and branding. You retain ownership of the data you upload; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service to you.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The service depends on third-party search, model and market-data providers, and may be affected by maintenance or their outages. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Payments, credits and subscriptions
Usage is billed in credits. Credits are consumed when you run searches, extractions, document Q&A and report generation, and unused credits roll over. Plan prices and credit pack prices are shown on the pricing page and include applicable taxes where required.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by Paddle and governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time. On termination your access ends; you may request an export of your portfolio data within 30 days, after which we may delete it.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and the courts of Finland have jurisdiction over any dispute. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. We may update these terms and will post the new version here with an updated date.
